What is CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture is a new approach to how you as a customer can support your local farmer, by investing in an entire seasons worth of fresh produce at the beginning of the year. You’ll receive your produce free of plastic packaging and grown to beyond organic standards, delivered within 24 hours of being harvested.

Why CSA?

With your commitment so early on in the growing season, we as farmers have a much clearer idea of how many seeds to sow as well as precisely what varieties to grow, helping to reduce food waste. As growers, a lot of our costs occur early on in the year too, your payment will enable us to invest in the best quality seeds and compost which you’ll soon be reaping the rewards from on your plates.

CSA’s offer food security and provenance to their customers, once you’ve become a member, you can relax in the knowledge that every week you’ll receive a nutritious box of local, organic, regeneratively grown produce. You’ll also be doing your part in supporting the regenerative agriculture movement and the sequestration of carbon back into our soils, helping to reverse the climate crisis.

You’ll become a part of a growing community of food lovers who not only value highly nutritious foods, but the ethics in which that food is grown. We hope that we can offer you a much stronger connection to the food that furnishes your larder.

What’s on offer?

This season I’ll be growing many varieties of vegetables, salad crops, fruits and herbs. We’ll also be growing our own culinary and medicinal mushrooms, microgreens and peashoots. I’m teaming up with my partner Suzie who some of you may know from her Community Interest Company, Ahimsa Plant healing and together we’ll be offering organic, British grown dry goods such as oats, lentils, chickpeas and much more. We’ll also be curating recipe cards to accompany the vegboxes every week.

Becoming a CSA member will come with additional perks of discounts on LMG preserves and Ahimsa Plant Healing products.

How do I become a member?

Simply fill in the application form below and we’ll get back to you with confirmation and to arrange payment methods. Please bare in mind that our home delivery service will be limited to a range of 30 miles from the farm (PE34 4QH) (This does include central areas of Peterborough) to maintain our ethos of local food production and helping us all reduce our carbon footprint.

If you live outside of our 30 mile limit and would still love to be a CSA member, then collection direct from the farm can be arranged.

Refund Policy

As we are a small family run business, all income is invested back into the day-to-day running of the farm; seeds, compost, animal feed and bedding, fuel for our delivery vehicle etc. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds once payment is received.

If you wish to cancel your membership at any point, we’d kindly ask for you to attempt to sell your shares to friends or family, alternatively, we can offer it to somebody on our waiting list. Another option is to gift your shares to a low income household or family in need.
